High acuity, typically full census – **Travelers will work primarily in a medical capacity (not just behavioral health capacity) – wound care, diabetic calculations, NG tubes, etc. Candidates must have at least limited Psych Experience. Please screen those with limited Peds/Ado Psych experience. Experience with PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) preferred. Three zones of care 1. Adolescent Program 2. Autism zone 3. Child Program ***No seclusion room and very limited use of restraints. Must be comfortable working with a “continuum of interventions†to manage disruptive behaviors. Staff carry walkie talkies for communication and escalation of risk. **staffing ratios include “mental health specialists†and RNs. .RNs are not responsible for all care just the care that requires RN involvement , focused assessments, meds, wound care etc. **Families are involved in care.
