Travel Nurse (RN) - Tele/Stepdown (Telemetry/PCU) - Indianapolis, IN - 836032

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PCU 48’s
Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×4, 48hrs per week, will also consider 36hrs per week, must be flexible with weekend

Length: 13 weeks
Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract
Requirements:

• IN RN License
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Skillset Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Accessing Ports, Titrate Cardiac drips, and Cardiac Drips
• BLS
• ACLS
• ONS Preferred

Local rate rule: ICU, PCU and M/S Peds and Adult RNs residing in the state of Indiana are considered local and will be accepted at the local rate.
MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.

Certification Requirements: ACLS and BCLS; ONS Preferred

Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals
Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6
Unit Information: Flex Acuity unit – allogeneic transplants, autos as well. CAR T Cell Transplants – newer type of cellular therapy that has the goal of curative therapy.
Unit: Bone Marrow Transplant – Special Procedures
