Shift: Nights, 6:45p-7:15a, 12×3, 36hrs per week

Requirements:

• NC License
• 1 Year Experience
• Skills: MED/Surg, Telemetry-remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Team, IV insulin protocols, Colostomy Care, Feeding tube care & management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin, PCA, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral Suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac
• BLS
• MS/Tele, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry – on the unit monitoring, Accessing Ports, Insulin, CVA, Surgical drains, Interpretation of ABGs, Trachesotomy Management, EPIC preferred

JOB DETAILS:Target Ratios: 1:6-7Shift: 12 hr NIGHTS36 hours can be offered.Will accept 13-26 weeks.Floating Requirement: Floating requiredWeekend Requirement: 12-16 per contract
PATIENT DIAGNOSES: dementia, diabetes, dementia, COVID, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, encephalopathy, GI bleed, anemia, hip fracture. Typical M/S diagnoses plus COVID
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Isolation area for COVID patients, multi level care to include stepdown (cared for by stepdown staff, not M/S staff)
UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, Epic, SBAR
SCHEDULING TYPE: based on unit needs
UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours
Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day.
