Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – CVICU – Cardio Thoracic ICU (C6)

Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, EOW

Length: 8 weeks

Holidays/Weekends: Every other

Requirements:

  • NJ license
  • 2 years of acute care experience
  • Required Skills: CVICU experience with fresh open hearts such as CABG, MVR, AVR, TAVR. Assist with BiPAP and CPAP, chest tube insertion/removal assistance. 12 lead EKG, Post Op Open Heart Recovery, Swan, FloTrac, Temp Pacers, Alines, vents, Chest Tubesm
  • Must have experience with devices such as Impella, IABP, and CRRT using prismaflex; May consider SICU experience with initial training in a CVICU
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS

  • First time traveler’s accepted
  • Travelers will float to all ICUs, PACU, ED for ICU holding patients, and all IMC units
