Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Labor & Delivery 4th
Shift: Variable D/N, 7a-7:30p & 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, Every other weekend as needed
Length: 13 weeks
On call: L&D takes 24 hours of call per 4 week schedule period
Requirements:
- WA License
- 2 Years’ Experience
- Skills required: Independent IV starts and lab draws from IV start, accurate vaginal exams, provide labor support, fetal monitor strip interpretation according to NICHD guidelines, strong ability to multi-task, communicate, comfortable with asking questions, and easily adapts to a new unit.
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
Other Details:
- We typically do not assign travelers to the triage role and do not require them to circulate unless they have previous experience.
- EMR: Cerner & Fetalink
- L&D floats to Mother Baby. Mother Baby floats off the unit if needed.
