Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ER 48’s
Shift/Hours: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12×4, 48hrs per week, will accept 36hrs
Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
  • NH license
  • 2 years – All ED experience with in the last 3 years
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIH
  • Graduate from an accredited school
  • Telemetry, Triage skills
  • PALS, TNCC, 6 hour of stroke education preferred
Unit does not accept first time travelersLocals Accepted: Travelers located within 50 miles of facility
Other Details:
Telemetry Exam on Arrival: Expected to use calipers, interpret various rhythms including but not limited to; sinus rhythms, arrhythmias, blocks, paced rhythms, life threatening arrythmias. The test is closed book, proctored, and has a 60 minute time limit
REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years – All ED experience with in the last 3 years.Traveler Experience: Unit does not accept first time travelersLocals Accepted: Travelers located within 50 miles of facilitySkills: Telemetry, TriageCerts: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, Graduate from an accredited school & NH Licensure

JOB DETAILS:Target Ratios: 1:4Shift: 12hr Nights 7p-7:30a, 36 or 48 hours acceptedFloat Requirement: •Helping Hands/ Team Nursing approach•Will assist in being Floated to ICU and similar units•Patient SittingYou will not take a patient that does not match your clinical assignment or teamWeekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: As a member of the Patient Care Services team, the Emergency Services (ES) Registered Nurse cares for pediatric and adult patients presenting with a variety of illnesses, injuries or trauma. The ES RN specializes in assessing, intervening and stabilizing patients in situations that require critical clinical decision-making skills. The registered nurse successfully completes a competency based orientation program to become proficient in serving the Emergency Services patient population.
