Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele 6EH Orthopedics

Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 36hrs per week

Length: 16 weeks

Requirements:

  • WA license
  • Must have 2 years of experience
  • BLS
  • Preferred skills are vents, IV start
  • Preferred charge nurse experience and level 1 trauma
Other Details:
  • Required to float and self scheduling is done for weekend coverage
  • EMR is Epic and medication documentation is Pyxis
  • Will accept first time travelers
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Unknown
Can’t consider holiday weekend RTO (7/4-7/8, 8/30-9/3)RN/ MS/TeleStart: 5/20Aya Offer Units require 2 references within the last year 1 manager and 1 CHG RN or AboveMust have 2 years of experience and they will accept first time travelers.Required to float and self scheduling is done for weekend coverage.Required certification is BCLS and preferred skills are vents, IV start,preferred charge nurse experience and level 1 trauma.Mainly orthopedics trauma related to MCA i.e Spine injury, femoral fractures, traction, etc.. But is not limited so we get neuro, surgery pts. etc. We are also primary unit for vascular, urology and gyn.Staffing ratios are 1/3-4 on days and 1/4-5 on nights.EMR is Epic and medication documentation is Pyxis.
