Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PCU – 3 East Hematology/Oncology 48’s
Shift: Days / 7a-7p (12×4) 48 hours per week, will consider 36’s, EOW

Length: 13 weeks
Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract
Requirements:
  • IN License
  • Minimum 2 years from a large Urban or Academic Health Center
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • Travel experience preferred
  • Level 1 Trauma experience and Oncology experience preferred
  • ONS preferred

Shift Requirements: 4×12 or 3×12 Days

*** Weekends: Travelers are expected to work every other week per their contract. Pending operational needs, consecutive weekends may be needed based on the greatest need
*** Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.
Certification Requirements: BCLS and ACLS; ONS Preferred
Skillset Preferences: Level 1 Trauma Experience and Oncology ExperienceSkillet Requirements: Minimum 2 Year From A Large Urban or Academic Health Center
Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed
Staffing Ratios: 1:4
Unit Information: inpatient Hematology/Oncology and overflow Stem Cell Transplant patient population
