Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Medical Surgical 48’s

Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12×4, 48hrs per week, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• GA License
• 2 Years’ Experience
• General MS and possibly inpatient hospice
• BCLS
• ACLS
• NIH preferred
• Charge experience is a plus

Other Details:

• Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR, Spacelabs
• 1st Timers may be considered depending on experience level

• Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers may be considered depending on experience level
Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS Required; NIH Preferred
General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Patient Diagnoses – general MS and possibly inpatient hospice; Charge experience is a plus; Since this is a smaller facility, MS will be required to have ACLS certification to run any codes until coverage from the ER arrives to the unit; No IV Team, Wound Care will be done virtually, No Cafeteria – Vending machines will have meal options; Parts of Orientation will take place at the Main Augusta campus approximately 3 miles down the road.

Weekends: Every other weekendCall Requirements: None
Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
