Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ER 48’s

Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12×4, 48hrs per week, EOW, 2 major holidays

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • GA license
  • Minimum 2 years experience
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • NIH

Other Details:

  • Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR, Spacelabs
  • 1st Timers not accepted
  • Possibility of floating

Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers not accepted
Patient Population: Pediatrics to Geriatrics
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH
General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: ER will have an ambulance on site 24 hours per day to be readily available to transport any patients that need care above what this facility can offer. No IV Team, Wound Care will be done virtually, No Cafeteria – Vending machines will have meal options
Ratio / Census: 1:4; 14 Beds
Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR, Spacelabs
Scrub Color: Royal Blue
Weekends: Every other weekend
Floating: Possibility of floating
Call Requirements: None
Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
