Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ED Observation Unit
Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, EOW
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- VA or Compact License
- 2 years of experience required
- 2 years of RN experienced required (Cardiovascular Telemetry/ PCU/ ED Observation/Er Holding level care)
- Stepdown Tele checklist or ER checklist required. ER Holding should be 3 or higher.

- ACLS
- PALS
- NIH

- No first time travelers. No exceptions

Unit: ED Obs
Please confirm your traveler is aware of the unit. This is an ED Observation position.
Requirements:* 2 years of experience required. No exceptions.* No first time travelers. No exceptions.* BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH required – Can submit pending* 2 years of RN experienced required (Cardiovascular Telemetry/ PCU/ ED Observation/Er Holding level care)* Stepdown Tele checklist or ER checklist required. ER Holding should be 3 or higher.* Compact or VA license must be in hand to submit.
Shift Information: Every other weekend
Unit information: Ratios: 1:5 – The ED Observation unit cares for patients that need a further workup before determining if the patient is safe to discharge or if they need to be admitted to the hospital. Common observation workups include allergic reaction, chest pain, and TIA.
