Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Med/Surg – Ortho 5 North

Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, Every other Weekend, holidays as needed, No call

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • NC License
  • Minimum 2 Years’ Experience
  • Orthopedic and Trauma Experience required
  • EPIC required
  • BLS
  • ACLS preferred

Other Details:

  • No first-time travelers
  • No locals

  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only


3x12s, Nights, 7p-7aEvery other Weekend, holidays as neededNo Call
2 years experience minimum, NO FIRST TIME TRAVELERS.
*BLS required, ACLS preferred.*Use of Rapid Response Teams*Orthopedic and Trauma Experience required*Specialize in pre-op and post-op ortho.*Elective and or trauma patient.*1:6 (possible stretch to 7) nurse patient ratio*EPIC required.
Total Hip, Knee, and Shoulder Replacements and Repairs; Ortho TraumaSafe Patient Handling equipment; Ortho equipment including CPM, Knee Immobilizer, Bone Foam, and others.
Unit: *MHC – 5 North Orthopedics – 10102 – 30 – 30
