Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MPCU 4 West
Shift: Days, 7a-7:30p, 12×3, 36 hrs per week, EOW
Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
- IN License
- 2 years experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- Acute intermediate care/Progressive care step-down skills including chronic tracheostomy ventilator dependent, neuro-surgical patients including uncomplicated back surgeries/VP shunt/ stable Subdural Hematoma, DKA on IV insulin drip medication. Other patient populations include: respiratory, vasoactive IV drips, GI bleed, ETOH withdrawal/behavioral, renal. *intubation of patients does on rare occasion take place as needed prior to transfer of patient to a higher level of critical care preferred
- Procedures performed in the unit: placement of chest tubes, thoracentesis, central line IV access, blood product transfusion, bedside endoscopy procedures, performance of lab draws and starting IVs is necessary preferred
