Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – IMC – Step-down

Shift: Nights, 6:45p-7:15a, 12×3, 36hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

minimum 2 weekends in a 6 week schedule

Requirements:

  • NC License
  • 2 Years’ Experience
  • Skills: IV Start, Triage, Telemetry and Conscious Sedation. Charge Nurse
  • BCLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
  • CCRN AND TNCC preferred
  • Travel Experience not required. Highly preferred
Other Details:
  • Unit Systems (Medication, Documentation, Communication): PYXIS/EPIC/SBAR.
  • Locals Accepted
  • Float to Critical Care for appropriate acuity, as well as floating to Telemetry and/or medical-surgical. May have to float to COVID area with appropriate acuity assignment, traveler Must be aware and comfortable should this be needed

PATIENT DIAGNOSES:SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: take new BiPaPs, optiflow, patients with trachs and on home vents ready for discharge. Common drips include: Dopamine, Dobutamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin.UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): PYXIS/EPIC/SBAR.UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hoursSCRUBS: Navy and/or White.
