Job Description
Travel Oncology RN is needed for 13 weeks to start ASAP in a facility in New York. NY license is required. BLS is required. Chemo Certificaiton is preferred. Shifts consist of 7-7, with every other weekend and holiday. 36 hours per week guaranteed. 2+ years experience in Oncology is required. May be floated to other Med Surg areas is required. Recent travel experience is required. Provides direct patient care, delegates/assigns responsibility as appropriate to others, and serves as leader of the interdisciplinary team in collaboration with and under the direction of the attending physician. Focuses on completion of the nursing process including patient/family education and discharge planning. Understands and acts appropriately to ensure optimum use of all resources.
