Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele – 6th West
Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12×3, 36 hours per week, 8 Weekend shifts
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- NC license
- 2 Years’ Experience
- Stepdown experience preferred
- IV Start and Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias and Management of dysrhythmias skills
- BCLS
- ACLS
- NIH
PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Step-Down experience
JOB DETAILS:RATIOS: 1:6 ratio, Avg. Daily Census: 23Will Accept 13 Weeks.12 HOUR NIGHTS
Float Requirement: YES Floating is RequiredWeekend Requirement: 8 Weekend Shifts
PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Cardiac Arrhythmias, MI, ACS, Diabetes uncontrolled, DKA, Heart Failure, post heart catheterization, post PPM, post ICD. Cardiac drips. No titrating for blood pressure. Quality nurses needed that can handle high acuity patients and a high patient to nurse
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Cardiac drips. No titrating for blood pressure. Tele/Stepdown/IMC quality nurses needed that can handle high acuity patients and a high patient to nurse ratio.**No charge nurses on the unit. Teamwork is a must**
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Glucomander
UNIT SYSTEMS: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR
UNIT ORIENTATION: 3 day orientation. First day EPIC training, the next two days on the unit.
SCRUBS: Navy or white
