Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Med/Surg 8D
MS RNWill work 3x12hr days 7a-7p, or rotating (7a-7p, 7p-7a-depending on unit needs)Holidays requiredWeekend REQ EOWRatios: 1:4-5Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes
Years of experience REQ: 1+ year experience required if academic hospital system/2+ years experience required for other hospital systemsFirst-timers accepted: NoLicense REQ: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN LicenseCerts REQ (MUSC only accepts American Heart Association (AHA)): BLS.Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on unit’s needs.

Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
8D EH is a 13-bed inpatient adult acute med-surg unit open 24/7. 8D EH is designed to accommodate medical and surgical patients from general or family medicine service lines. The unit serves direct and new admissions coming into the hospital from the ED, post recovery or other inpatient units under the medical-surgical service lines with a variety of diagnoses.

Scrub Color: All RNs – Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal blue bottoms.
Charting: EPIC

Shift: Days/ 7a-7p, or rotating (7a-7p, 7p-7a-depending on unit needs), 12×3, 36 hrs per week, EOW, Holidays
Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:- SC/Multi-State/Compact RN License
- 1+ years experience if academic hospital system or 2+ years experience for other hospital systems
- AHA BLS
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
