Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PCU 5E 48’s
Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12×4, 48 hrs per week
Length: 13 Weeks
Weekend: every other Fri/Sat (for nights); Sat/Sun (for days)
Requirements:
Ratios: 1:5
Years of experience REQ: 18 months
First timers accepted:
Weekend REQ: every other Fri/Sat (for nights); Sat/Sun (for days)
Certs REQ: ACLS, BCLS; NIH RequiredWill the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? YesOpen to accommodating block schedule? To be discussedLocal rate rule: ICU, PCU and M/S Peds and Adult RNs residing in the state of Indiana are considered local and will be acceptedPending License accepted: No. IN-STATE LICENSE / REQUIRED CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUBGuaranteed Hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts – 40 hrs. in one workweek. 3, 12 hr. shifts – 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts – 48 hrs. in one workweek.
Special Requirements: PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown; Interpretation & management of dysrhythmias; central line care/management; PICC Line management, manage cardiac drips – no titration, titrate cardiac drips. Preferred: Charge Experience, Cardiac telemetry, telemetry, titration of insulin drips, titrate vasoactive drips
Unit Information: Patient Diagnoses- COPD, PNA, Sepsis, UTI, CHF . Special Procedures/Unit Details: Acuity adaptable unit patients range from MS level of care to PCU/stepdown/ICU level of care, ratios will be based on level of acuity
