Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Cath Lab Holding – Cardiac Pre/Post Unit
Shift: Days / 6:30a-5p, 10×4, 40 hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Call: there are 2 days per week that nurses sign up to stay til all patients are discharged. The nurse will also move into the call rotation for weekend stress tests (Sat 8-14:00 Sun 8-12) in a 13 week contract traveler would expect 1-2 call weekends.
Requirements:
- NC License
- Minimum 1 year experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH
- Skills Required: IV Start, Telemetry, Conscious sedation are preferred
- Stress testing and cardiac background experience preferred
- Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler
- Floating may be required depending on experience and needs
Pre-Post unit services Cardiac Cath, EP, IR and Vascular patients. The majority of our patients are outpatient.Preferred exp: RN with stress testing and cardiac background experience.Adults with limited adolescents. Daily Census= 25, 13 rooms/beds. EPIC, PYXIS, SBAR. Tilt Table. Monitors post arterial procedures. Possible sheath pulls.
Certifications Required: ACLS, BCLS, NIH.Skills Required: IV Start.
