Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Trauma ICU

Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 36hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • CA License
  • 1 year’ experience
  • Trauma experience
  • ACLS, BCLS, NIH, TNCC/TCAR
  • CPI, MAB preferred
Other Details:
  • Accept first time travelers
  • Float within service line

SKILLS/EXP REQ:Work Settings:• Surgical Intensive Care UnitTrauma experience required
Skills:• Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias• Multi-system organ failure• IV Insulin protocols• GI surgery• Chronic/acute renal failure• CVVHD/CRRT/Shunts and Fistula Care• Accessing Ports• Arterial line management• Blood Product Administration• Central line care/PICC line management• Starting IVs/Continuous IV Sedation/Procedural Sedation Admin.• Titrate Cardiac & Vasoactive drips• CVA/Acute Stroke management• External ventricular drains (EVD)• Hypothermia protocol/Artic Sun• ICP Monitoring• Post Neurosurgery management• Spinal cord injury/TBI• Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal• Assist with management of BiPAP/CPAP• Care of Ventilated Patient/Ventilator Management• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)• Interpretation of ABGs• Suctioning (ETT, NT)• Infection Prevention/Isolation Precautions/Use of PPE• Phlebotomy• Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound VacCOVID Vaccination Required.
