Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ICU 6E 48’s
Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 48 hrs per week, will consider 36’s
Length: 13 weeks
Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contractTravelers must be able to work 50% of the weekends in their contract
Requirements:
  • IN license
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Level 1 Trauma experience
  • Electronic Documentation Cerner required
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Pulmonary Artery Lines skills preferred
Others details:
  • Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed
  • Cerner experience required
  • No first time traveller accepted
  • No Travel Pairs Working Together on this Unit

CERNER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.

First Time Travelers Accepted; No Travel Pairs Working Together On This Unit

Shift Requirements: 4×12 or 3×12

Certification Requirements: ACLS and BCLS

Skillset Requirements: Minimum 2 Year of Experience and Level 1 Trauma Experience
Skillset Preferences: Pulmonary Artery Lines

Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed
Staffing Ratios: 1:2

Unit Information: Blended Medical Surgical ICU, Non Neuro, trauma, or cardiac
COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
