Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele B5/C5 48’s
Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12×4, 48 hrs per week, will accept 36hrs
Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.
Shift Requirements: 4×12 or 3×12
*** Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract
*** Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.
Certification Requirements: BCLS
Skillset Requirements: Minimum 2 Year Experience, MedSurg Experience, Staring IVs, and Level 1 Trauma Experience
Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6
Unit Information: Complex Medical patients – Most with Renal disease and Diabetes as a primary or secondary diagnosis. We also have a 5 bed area dedicated to End of Life/Comfort Care. Traveler will not be required to work in this area.– Our unit provides all CAPD treatments throughout Methodist Hospital. Traveler will not be required to complete these.
Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
Unit: B5/C5 Renal/Metabolic/Comfort Care
