Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Pediatric Behavioral Health

Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, EOW, Will work holidays if needed

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • NJ License
  • 2+ years of experience required
  • Experience with Pyxis Glucometer
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Strongly prefer experience with “Handle With Care†but will train if needed

Other Details:

  • Charting System: Sunrise
  • First time travelers are accepted
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Unknown
13 weeks…Every other weekend (Sat/Sun)…Will work holidays if needed…2+ years of experience required…40 beds: 13 beds on crisis,17 beds on intermediate and 10 DD beds…BLS, ACLS required…Strongly prefer experience with “Handle With Care†but will train if needed…Cases per day: 8-10…Patient Mix: The age range is from 5-17. Patients do not have IV treatment but we may have patients who are diabetic for example. We have both crisis and intermediate units and mixed into those beds would be beds designated for the developmentally delayed(DD) patients. Typical patient diagnosis – Neurodevelopmental disorders (Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Conduct disorders. MDD, Bipolar Disorders and Psychosis)Charting System: Sunrise…Experience with Pyxis Glucometer…First time travelers are accepted…Facility does not accept travel pairs…Scrub Color: Navy Blue…
