Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Stepdown Cardiac SE7 48’s
Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12×4, 48 hrs per week, EOW/holiday, Will also consider 36hrs
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
**For 48-hour contract, OT is paid out after 48 hours**
36 or 48 hour contract
Their application MUST show some 1:5 ratio experience in the Work History section for SD or PCU, otherwise, the managers will not review it. Be sure this is added to the application prior to submitting in order to avoid delay. Also note, ICU exp does not count towards SD/PCU exp at this facility, therefore, you MUST have SD/PCU experience to be considered.
**Targeted patient ratios are 1:5-6**
Must have the following requirements:EPIC experience• Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment• BLS, NIH required, ACLS preferred – must be able to read and interpret strips• IV Start• Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed.1.5 years exp and some level 1 or 2 preferred• Travel experience preferred
Unit Details:Advanced Care Unit: Typical patients are heart failure, chest pain rule out, NSTEMI, post -procedure patients, COPD exacerbation, drug/ETOH overdose and withdrawal. RN’s must be competent to run IV drips such as heparin, nitroglycerin, amiodarone, Cardizem, insulin, cardizem, etc.• Daily average census: 31• Navy Blue Scrubs

- 1.5 years experience
- Must have SD/PCU experience
- Some 1:5 ratio experience in the Work History section for SD or PCU
- Epic experience
- Must be able to read and interpret strips
- BLS
- NIH
- IV Start
- ACLS preferred
- Some level 1 or 2 preferred
- Travel experience preferred
- Local – within 50 miles of home address to contracted facility
- ICU experience does not count towards SD/PCU experience at this facility

- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
