Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Medical Surgical – 3 North 48’s
Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12×4, 48hrs per week, will also consider 36hrs per week, flexible with weekend
Length: 13 weeks
Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract
Requirements:
- IN RN or Compact License
- Minimum 2 years experience
- BLS
- Level 1 Trauma Experience preferred

MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.
IU Health University and Methodist are teaching facilities and require all travel nurses to agree to the possibility of precepting and/or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment. Please only submit candidates that are okay with these requirements.
Traveler must have IN/Compact license in hand or have submitted their fingerprint application package for their license to apply for this position.

Unit Information: 3 North is a medical-surgical unit specializing in post-operative care of colorectal surgery patients. We do care for patients who need negative-airflow rooms, so candidates must be fit-tested for an N95 mask or trained on how to use a PAPR device for care of these patients.
