Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Surg/OR Perioperative Pediatrics

Shift: Variable D/E, 12×3, 36hrs per week, with on call

Length: 13 weeks

On-call Optional: Call response time of 45 minutes; 45 minutes from phone call, dressed in scrubs and reporting to charge nurse

Requirements:

  • WI / Compact License
  • 2 Years’ Experience
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA PALS
  • Perioperative experience required – including pre-op, phase II, PACU
  • Experience with special needs and complex care patient population
  • Must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years
  • Must have experience in an Academic Level 1 – Trauma center or similar size hospital
  • Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks)
  • Pediatric perioperative experience strongly preferred
EMR Used: EPICTravelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler’s competency skills/experience.
