Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ICU 48’s
Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×4, 48 hrs per week, EOW
Length: 17 weeks
Requirements:
  • SD License
  • 2 years of ICU experience
  • Epic experience
  • Experience with IV medications (vasopressors, sedation, paralytics), hemodynamic lines, proning, ventilator management, telemetry, strong critical thinking and assessment skills, working well in team setting, comfortable in fast pace setting with all critical patients.
  • Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • TNCC
  • NIHSS
  • Travel experience is most preferred
Others details:
  • Epic experience
  • Experience with IV medications (vasopressors, sedation, paralytics), hemodynamic lines, proning, ventilator management, telemetry, strong critical thinking and assessment skills, working well in team setting, comfortable in fast pace setting with all critical patients.
  • Impella, IABP and CRRT – strongly preferred
  • Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) – South Dakota Board of Nursing
  • Will you accept a first-time traveler? No. Minimum one prior travel assignment
  • Travelers must live 100 miles away
  • Permanent staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • Floating: If yes, where?Not common unless overstaffed. Could float to any adult floor – including Medsurg/Tele with 1:4 ratio. Confirm traveler comfortability during interview
