Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PreOp/PACU
Shift: Variable / 12×3, 36hrs per week
Length: 13 Weeks
Weekend rotation- Pre-Op/PACU staff have 4 weekend call teams, each caregiver responsible for a weekend call rotation every three weeks
Will they be on call? If so, what is that schedule? Each caregiver has a 2300-0700 call shift about every 2-3 weeks that is during Monday-Friday, in addition to their scheduled 36 hours. Then Each caregiver is also responsible for their designated weekend.
Requirements:
- SD License
- Must have 1.5 years of experience
- May be learned in orientation, but competencies include: IV insertion, ventilator training, epidural/PCA set up/initiation, initiation of blood product transfusions, competency with administration and monitoring of moderate sedation (will not work Intra-op in Endo but would prep and recover, critical thinking
- BCLS
- ACLS
- PALS
