Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Step Down – SE6 48’s
Shift: Days/ 7a-7:30p, 12×4, 48 hours per week, will accept 36’s, every other weekend/holiday
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- OH license
- 1.5 Years’ Experience
- Some 1:5 ratio experience
- Must have SD/PCU experience
- Cardiac drip titration – must be able to read and interpret strips
- Some level 1 or 2 is preferred
- BCLS
- ACLS
- NIH
- IV start
- EPIC experience
Their application MUST show some 1:5 ratio experience in the Work History section for SD or PCU, otherwise, the managers will not review it. Be sure this is added to the application prior to submitting in order to avoid delay. Also note, ICU exp does not count towards SD/PCU exp at this facility, therefore, you MUST have SD/PCU experience to be considered.
Need EPIC experience
**Targeted patient ratios are 1:4-6**• All 48-hour contracts OT is billed at 48 hours
Must have the following requirements:• Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment• BLS, ACLS, IV start, NIH & cardiac drip titration – must be able to read and interpret strips• Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed.• 1.5 years exp some level 1 or 2 is preferred• Travel experience preferred
Unit Details:Specialty includes pre and post-op open heart management including CABG, valve, mitral clip & TAVR, thoracotomy, etc. Lung cases including pneumothorax, hemothorax, chest tube, zephyr valve. Advanced care cardiac patients with continuous telemetry.• Navy Blue Scrubs
