Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Step Down – MW3 48’s
Shift: Days / 7a-7:30p, 12×4, 48 hours per week, will accept 36’s, every other weekend/holiday
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- OH license
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a large hospital
- Must have vent experience
- Level 1 preferred will accept level 2 experience.
- Travel experience preferred
- BCLS
- ACLS
- IV Start
- NIH preferred – must be able to read and interpret strips
- Must have EPIC experience
- Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, but they can be up to 1:5-6
- Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment.
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

Must have the following requirements:• Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment.• BLS, ACLS required, NIH preferred – must be able to read and interpret strips• IV Start• Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed.• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a large hospital; level 1 preferred will accept level 2 experience.• Travel experience preferred
Unit Details:High acuity, fast-paced step-down unit. Needs good time management skills.Excellent critical thinking skills, cardiac monitor interpretation, Ventilator/trach experience, ACLS, manage chest tubes, drains, NIH Stroke Certification, Cardiac drips.Patient Population: DKA, GI bleed, COPD, Pneumonia, Stroke, Sepsis, Urology complications.• Daily average census: 31• Navy Blue Scrubs
