Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PCU – ONS 48’s
Shift: Days, 7a-7p, 12×4, 48hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Weekend rotation: Travelers could be scheduled for up to 4 out of the 6 weekends, which include Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Requirements:
- SD License
- 1 year of nursing experience required
- 1st time traveler must have EPIC experience
- Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
- Previous experience with our types of patients above, including IMC/stepdown and neuro
- Ability to read/interpret cardiac strips, wound care, line management, drain/tube management, drip titration of below medications
- Drip Titration: most commonly – Heparin, Insulin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Levophed (up to 5 mcg), occasionally esmolol drips (will train if traveler has not done these) or other Betablockers or other antihypertensives
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Epic strongly preferred
Other Details:
- Must live 100 miles away from any Monument Health facility
- Must wait 1 full year before returning as a traveler
- This is a mixed acuity unit meaning there will be Intermediate Care acuity as well as Tele and MedSurg
- Floating to any Adult Inpatient Unit – Med Surg, Ortho/Neuro/Surgical, Heart and Vascular Unit, Oncology, Observation
