Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Med/Surg 9C
MS/Clinical Decision Unit RNShift: Will work 3×12 nights 7p-7aWeekend REQ: every other weekendHoliday rotation requiredRatios: 1:5Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes
Experience REQ: 2 years + of Med Surg Experience, EPIC experienceExperience Preferred: Charge ExperienceLicense REQ: Required:South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License*SC is a walk through state and they can obtain a license during complianceCertifications REQ: (MUSC only accepts American Heart Association (AHA)): BLSFirst-timers accepted: No
Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on unit’s needs.Locals accepted: Yes.Local radius: 50 miles. Locals accepted on a case by case basis at lower rateRTO Restrictions: If a candidate is a clinical PASS, the account manager can auto offer a traveler that has 7 days or less of NON-HOLIDAY RTO. Any candidate that has 7+ days and/or includes holidays will have to be submitted to the facility for approval and can delay the process.Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
9C serves as a short stay unit to care for ED boarders, bedded OP, PACU boarders, and Obs patients.Located at MUSC Health’s main hospital, 9 Center is a nine-bed ER overflow, Admission and Holding unit open 24/7. 9Center is designed to help alleviate boarding in the Emergency Department. The unit serves direct and new admissions coming into the hospital from the ED under the medical-surgical service lines with a variety of diagnoses. 9 Center is designated and designed for the short-term treatment, observation until discharge, or next day transfer to inpatient units.
