Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS – Surgical Organ Transplant 48’s
Shift: Days / 7a-7:30p (12×4) 48 hours per week, will accept 36’s
Length: 13 Weeks
Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract
Must be able to work 50% of the weekends in contract.

Shift Requirements: 4×12 or 3×12
*** Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract
*** Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.
Certification Requirements: ACLS and BCLS
Skillset Requirement: Minimum 2 years experienceSkillset Preferences: Level 1 Trauma Experience, Telemetry, and IV Start
Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU)
Staffing Ratios: 1:3-5 Depends On Staffing
Unit Information: Post abdominal Transplant patients – largest patient population is Kidney transplant. High acuity MS that operates closer to a PCU level of care in terms of tasks and complexity.
COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required

- Minimum 2 years experience
- BLS
- Skillset Preferences: Level 1 Trauma Experience, Telemetry, and IV Start
