Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Med/Surg 9C
Shift: Will work 3×12 nights 7p-7a
Weekend REQ: every other weekend
Holiday rotation required
Ratios: 1:5
Experience REQ: 2 years + of Med Surg Experience, EPIC experience
Experience Preferred: Charge Experience
License REQ: Required:South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License
*SC is a walk through state and they can obtain a license during compliance
Certifications REQ: (MUSC only accepts American Heart Association (AHA)): BLS
First-timers accepted: No
Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on unit’s needs.
Locals accepted: Yes.
Local radius: 50 miles. Locals accepted on a case by case basis
Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
9C serves as a short stay unit to care for ED boarders, bedded OP, PACU boarders, and Obs patients.
Located at MUSC Health’s main hospital, 9 Center is a nine-bed ER overflow, Admission and Holding unit open 24/7. 9Center is designed to help alleviate boarding in the Emergency Department. The unit serves direct and new admissions coming into the hospital from the ED under the medical-surgical service lines with a variety of diagnoses. 9 Center is designated and designed for the short-term treatment, observation until discharge, or next day transfer to inpatient units.

Shift: Nights/ 7p-7a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week, EOW, Holiday Rotation
Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:- SC/Multi-State/Compact RN License
- 2+ years Med Surg experience
- EPIC experience
- AHA BLS
- Charge experience preferred
