Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Operating Room

Shift: Days / 6:45a-7:15p (12×3) 36 hours per week

Length: 12 weeks

Weekend REQ: 3 Weekend work shift (Sat & Sun, Day shift 06:45AM – 07:15PM) in 12 weeks
On-call 1 – 12 hour call shift a week (Night – 06:45PM – 07:15AM)

Requirements:

  • CA License
  • 3 years OR experience
  • BLS

  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
  • No Locals, 50 Miles radius rule

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours, Client can cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13 week assignment
Special Requirements : Primary RN in the operating room, providing patient care, and assisting the surgical tech, surgeon & anesthesiologist. Preparing the room for surgery, verify all critical elements are present to perform safe surgery. Assisting the anesthesiologist with intubation/extubation, and during nerve blocks. Ensuring patient is safe during surgery following policy/procedure with surgical counts, implants, time-out, specimens etc. Documenting everything accurately and efficiently in Cerner. Communicate with members of the team in a professional manner. Be knowledgeable of using the chain of command as necessary to escalate a difficult situation.
