Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Medical Surgical 1/2N
Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, EOW

Length: 12 Weeks
HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays

Requirements:

• GA License
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Unit accepts first time travelers
• BLS
• Unit Systems : Pyxis, EPIC & SBAR

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 year – Unit accepts first time travelers

PATIENT POPULATION: Adults to Geriatrics – Medical Surgical – Sepsis, Hypertensive Emergency, Chest Pain, Pneumonica, COVID, Diabetes, Ortho, GI, Renal, Syncope, Cardiac, and GYN
DAILY CENSUS: 24
BEDS: 28
RATIO: 1:6
UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC & SBAR
REQUIRED SKILLS: BLS, ability to utilize Alaris pump, SCDs, Kangroo pumps/feeding tube care/management, Peritoneal dialysis with manual exchanges/pre/post hemodialysis management, Rapid Response team, Peripheral Line Care/Management. Experience with nasal cannual, non-invasive airway management, oxygen face masks, isolations precaustion and portable oxygen tanks
PREFERRED SKILLS: Telemetry, Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
