Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele 5 General Orthopedics

Shift: Days / 6:45a-7:15p (12×3) 36 hours per week, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• NC RN License
• 2 years in any inpatient acute care setting OR 1 yr in ortho
• Charge Nurse Experience
• Level I Trauma Experience
• BLS
• ACLS preferred
• EPIC experience

Other Details:

• Will accept 1st time travelers

• Skills: IV Start, and Telemetry.

JOB DETAILS:Ratios: EXPECT 5-6:1 RATIO, can flex up to 7:1 but only in extreme cases.Will Accept 13 Weeks*36 can be offered.SHIFT: 12 HOUR DAYSFloat Requirement: REQUIRED, YES, Travelers could be required to float to any other med surg unit with in the facility to meet staffing needs based on census.Weekend Requirement: Every other WEEKEND required. (IF RN calls out on a weekend, they will be required to make that time up on a weekend).
PATIENT POPULATION: Avg. Daily Census: 37. Rooms: 39; Beds: 39. Patient Population: Orthopedic, Neuro spine, Med-surg, Post-surgical.
PATIENT DIAGNOSES: *No longer considered a Covid unit but travelers could potentially float to a sister unit that is based on staffing needs.
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: FAST PACED UNIT. Ortho and spine patients requiring nurses who can stay on top of their pain management.
SCHEDULING TYPE: Schedule requests are not guaranteed. Will not approve block scheduling unless it is requested as weekend blocked.
