Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele 8th General 48’s

Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12×4, 48 hrs per week, will consider 36’s, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • NC RN License
  • Minimum 1 year of experience
  • Skills: Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias
  • BLS
  • ACLS preferred
  • NIH preferred

PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Renal and limb preservation patients (lower extremity), patients include ESRD, ARF, vascular procedures, CHF, diabetics, diabetic foot ulcerSPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Unit is a 41 bed inpatient unit with telemetry capability with a focus on renal and limb preservation patients. Patients who receive hemodialysis will receive treatments in our hemodialysis unit. Peritoneal dialysis patients will receive treatments on the unit with initiation by the dialysis team. Our interdisciplinary team consists of: hospitalist, RN navigator, RNs, NAs, receptionist, dietary, PT/OT, pharmacy. This team meets on a daily basis to ensure best care is provided for our patients.
UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
SCHEDULING TYPE: Self-Scheduling, per the Unit Needs
UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours of orientation (2 shifts with preceptor plus EMR education)
SCRUBS: Not provided – Colors: Navy or White
