Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MedSurg – 5th Floor

Shift: Days / 7a-7:30p, 12×3, 36 hours per week
Length:13 weeks

5 weekend shifts in a 6 week period, Holiday as needed

Requirements:

  • ID license
  • Must have 2 years of MedSurg experience
  • Must have EPIC experience
  • Must be able to read and interpret tele
  • Must be willing to take students, may precept new travelers
  • BLS
  • EKG certification
Other Details:
  • Radius rule of 50 miles
  • Will float between MedSurg 5, MedSurg 6, and a 9 bed overflow unit. Can also go to any like units in the system
  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Total joints, ortho-hip fx, spine surgeries-lumbar and cervical; Urology procedures, CBI; General surgeries- choles, bowel resections, complicated mastectomies; GYN overflow-total hysters; Medical overflow-COPD, some behavioral health, sepsis, infections.
