Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Stepdown Cardiac

Shift: Nights/ 7p-7a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week, Weekends

Length: 13 Weeks

Will work Sat & Sun

Requirements:

  • TN License
  • 1 year experience
  • Cardiac Telemetry, MS/Tele, Neuro Stepdown, Stepdown, Telemetry experience
  • Management of Dysrhythmias, Telemetry monitoring skills
  • BLS

Position/Specialty: CVSD
Start date: ASAP
Ratios: 4-5:1
Years of Experience REQ: 1
First-timers Accepted: Y/N: No new grads
Weekend REQ: Yes
Certs REQ: BLS/ACLS

Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes, ICUSD, 3W, 6west, may have to take 6 pts

Skills: Management of Dysrhythmias, Telemetry monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams, Feeding tube care and management, Pre-Post Meodialysis Management, Renal Failure, Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips-no titration, Manage Vasactive drips-no titration, CVA, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Isolation Precautions

Special Equipment: EKOS
Patient Diagnoses: HF, CP, ACS, TIA, STROKE, HTN, Syncope, Afib, DM
