Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MedSurg Neuro 8W
MS RN
Ratios: 1:5/1:6 dependent on staffing
Shift: Will work 3×12 nights 7p-7a, 36 hours/week, holiday rotation
Weekend REQ: 4-5 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes
8W Neuro/General Surgery Unit is a 25 mixed bed neurosurgery and general surgery unit serving any related patient with or without stepdown component.
Required/Preferred
Years of experience REQ: 1 year
First timers accepted? Yes
License REQ: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License
Certs/Experience/Skills required: (MUSC only accepts American Heart Association (AHA): BLS
Experience/Skills Preferred: Neuro experience, ACLS, NIHSS
Misc.
Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on unit’s needs.
Local Radius: 50 miles
Locals accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis
Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Scrub Color: All RNs – Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal blue bottoms.
Charting: EPIC
Parking Cost: Parking management office (located 91presidents street) to obtain parking permit. $20 registration fee for a hang tag which will allow use of the garage. No additional fees. Hang tag will not cover parking in any other locations. If parking outside of the 91 Street Parking Garage, additional fees may be incurred.
