Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – BMT/Oncology
Shift: Days / 8:30a-5p (8×5) 40 hours per week, No weekends
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- CA License
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- BMT & Chemo experience required
- BLS
- Chemo preferred
- First-timers accepted
- Float within cancer center, but not hospital
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required + Booster – No Exemptions, Current Booster
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – No Exemptions
- Locals accepted

Special Requirements:
BMT & Chemo experience required
Ambulatory practice management including efficient clinic flow and ensure continuity of patient care.
Completion of pertinent nursing assessment and interventions.
Ensure new patient records received and abstracted for physician review.
Telephone triage of clinic patients.
Assist physician with in-office minor surgical procedures such as excisional biopsy /wide excision/ JP drain/wound vacuum care, wound drainage,Bone Marrow BX, Minor surgical procedures .
Administer intermuscular and subcutaneous chemotherapy injections, work with CADD pumps for continuous infusions, access, de-access and trouble shoot PAS-ports and chest ports.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, chemo/surgery/BMT teaching, treatment side effects.
