Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Medical Surgical – Neuro Medicine
Shift: Nights, 6:45p-7:15a, 12×3, 36 hours per week, EOW
Length: 13-26 weeks
Requirements:
- NC license
- 2 years of experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH, Neuro experience preferred
- Experience/willing to learn the charge nurse role preferred
- Locals Accepted
- Float : travelers float first
- Skills: Teamwork approach to patient care, Focus on patient safety
- UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

JOB DETAILS:Ratios: 1:6Shift: NIGHTS 3×12-Hour (18:45 – 07:15) 36 hours 13- 26 weeks accepted!!RTO: 7 days MAX; NO RTO 4/29-5/17/24Float Requirement: yes, travelers float firstWeekend Requirement: every other weekend
Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
PATIENT DIAGNOSES: General medicine, focus on neuro
UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
SCHEDULING TYPE: Manager Schedules
UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 Hours
