Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Med/Surg Orthopedics Inpatient SE9 48’s

Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12×4, 48hrs per week, Will also accept 36’s

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • OH License
  • 1.5 years experience
  • EPIC experience required
  • BLS
  • NIH
  • Level 1 or 2 preferred
Other Details:
  • Must pass an online EKG competency course
  • Local is within 50 miles of home address to contracted facility
  • Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

Unit participates/may participate in team nursing model where RNs, LPNs, and PCTs partner together to care for a group of patients. The goal of this model is to divide the work and not the patients, ultimately improving both the workload and patient care. Nurses may function in either team nursing or primary nursing depending on the needs of the unit.

Unit Details:Working with Tele/drips-23 bed unitUnit Description: (Level 1 Trauma Center)Medical Surgical Orthopedic patients – most commonly taking care of patients with traumatic hip fractures, elective spine surgeries, and other traumatic orthopedic injuries.Most patients require pre/post-surgical orthopedic care, including heart monitors, drains, PCAs, and Ketamine drips. Also, provide care to any med surg patient/overflow.

RTORequest RTO with initial submittal; NO RTO will be added after the offer. RTO approval will be at the Manager’s discretion. Submittal email must include application and current Nursys report, and other certs are not needed if listed on the application
