Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PCU
Shift: Nights/ 7p-7a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week, EOW, Holiday Rotation
Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
Shift: Will work 3x12hr nights 7pm-7am
Weekend REQ: Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Ratio:1-4 or 5 staffing depending
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes
Years of experience REQ: 1+ year of recent experience
First-timers accepted: Yes
License REQ: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License
Certs REQ: (MUSC only accepts American Heart Association (AHA)) ACLS, BLS, NIH
Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires managers approval upon request.
Dependent on unit’s needs.
Local radius: 50 miles.
Locals accepted: Yes, on a case- by- case basis
Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
6 East Transplant is a 22 bed intermediate PCU/medical-surgical unit.
There is a central monitor system for the step down rooms and a separate one for Tele. Five of the 22 beds have bedside monitors to accommodate transplant patients who need to be closely monitored.
The predominate population cared for are pre- and post-operative transplant (liver, kidney, kidney/pancreas), nephrology and urology patients.
