Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ICU 48’s Shift: Days / 7a-7p, 12×4, 48 hrs per week, EOW Length: 13 weeks Requirements:
SD license
2 years of ICU experience (excluding travel experience is most preferred)
Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
Experience with IV medications (vasopressors, sedation, paralytics), hemodynamic lines, proning, ventilator management, telemetry, strong critical thinking and assessment skills, working well in team setting, comfortable in fast pace setting with all critical patients
Epic experience
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, NIHSS
Cardiac experience is preferred
Impella, IABP and CRRT strongly preferred
Others:
Patient Types: Complex ICU patients ranging from surgical, medical, cardiac (preferred), neuro and trauma
Will you accept a first-time traveler? No. Minimum one prior travel assignment
Float: not common unless overstaffed. Could float to any adult floor – including Medsurg/Tele with 1:4 ratio
Travelers must live 100 miles away from any facility
