Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ER 48’s

Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a (12×4) 48 hours per week, Will accept 36’s, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • AL License
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • Must have a minimum of Level III Trauma experience
  • Skills required: Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response, IV Therapy/Phlebotomy, Continuous IV Sedation, CVA, ICP Monitoring, Ortho-trauma, Respiratory/Thoracic, Shock/Trauma Experience and Triage
  • Charting: EMR experience required though Meditech Expanse training is covered during orientation
  • ACLS
  • BCLS
  • PALS
  • CPI, TNCC preferred

  • Charting: Meditech Expanse
  • Must pass cardiac exam during orientation
  • First time travelers are accepted

  • Locals are welcome
Margin/OT Billing Rules – Candidates contracted for 48 hours – OT is billed after 48hrs
ITC & perm staff must have been termed for at least 6 months
Nursys: No hits are allowed, if there is a hit of ANY kind it is an automatic redirect

Ratios: 1:4 Acute Care, 1:6 Rapid Medical Treatment and 1:2 Trauma

Weekend REQ: Every other weekend required
Certifications Required: ACLS, BCLS, PALS
