Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele Float

Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Every 3rd weekend or 4 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule

Requirements:

  • MO license
  • 2 years experience required for Tele
  • 1 year MS experience
  • IV start and Telemetry required
  • Will accept first time travelers
  • ACLS
  • BLS
Other Details:
  • Will float between medical, surgical, oncology, and neuro, cardiology units
  • Special Equipment: lift devices (will train), ceiling lifts, and bladder scanner
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
Medical: Nurses will float between medical, surgical, oncology, and neuro, cardiology unitsRatio- 1:5-6 for Days and weekends, 1:6 for NightsAvg. Daily Census: 28-50 depending on unitBeds: 31Will float to all Medical units, renal, oncology, and neuroEvery third weekend or 4 weekend shifts per 6 week scheduleSpecial Equipment: lift devices (will train), ceiling lifts, and bladder scannerBCLS required for MSBCLS and ACLS required for TeleIV start and Telemetry required2 years experience required for Tele1 year experience for MSWill accept first time travelersFloat process: If we pre-assign the worker to a particular unit for any part of their contract with us, it will be communicated to the worker along with the timeframe for the pre-assignment.Workers that remain in our float pool are asked to call in to a recorded line up to 1 hour before the scheduled shift start time, to receive their unit assignment for that shift.
