Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele Float Pool

Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • VA or Compact License
  • 2 Years’ Experience
  • Recent MS, MS/Tele, MS Float pool experience required
  • BLS
  • NIH
  • ACLS preferred

Other Details:

  • Will be expected to float to the following units: 4 Medical, 2 Gen Surg, 2 Neuro, Ortho, Oncology, ED
  • Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler
  • Local accepted
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Unknown
Unit: MS Float Pool, Nights
Latest start the unit can accommodate is 4/30.
Nurse manager will call to interview traveler. Please prepare them for a live phone interview.
Requirements:*RTO Blackout Dates – All of April, 5/26 & 5/27, 5/31, 6/10-6/21, 7/4-7/6*VA State license or compact in hand*NIH, BLS Required. ACLS preferred. Ok to submit without.*ALL RTO must be provided at Submittal. NM will not approve additional RTO after an offer is given.*Recent MS, MS/Tele, MS Float pool experience required.
Shift Information:*Every other weekend*Float Pool RN will be expected to float to the following units: 4 Medical, 2 Gen Surg, 2 Neuro, Ortho, Oncology, ED*Typical ratios: Days 1:5; Nights 1:6
RN will be given a schedule 4 weeks in advance. Facility tries to schedule RN on the same 1-2 units so they can gain familiarity, however they may be pulled to any unit within the complex. RN’s should not be pulled more than once per 12-hour shift (and will rarely be pulled mid-shift).
