Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Tele – Cancer Ctr Medical Oncology

Shift: Days / 7a-7p, 12×3, 36hrs per week

Length: 13 Weeks

Requirements:

  • NC or Compact License
  • 2 Years Experience in specialty
  • Stong Oncology background and Phlebotomy skills
  • Skills that will be utilized are administering chemotherapy, continuous infusion medication management, pain management, wound vac. dressing changes, wound drains, central lines, tracheotomy patients, chest tubes, IV start skills, peripheral lab draws, arterial blood draws, various intravenous drips i.e. cardiac, insulin, heparin, and cardiac monitoring
  • Must be able to read and interpret strips
  • AHA BLS
  • NIHSS
  • ONS certification preferred
Others:
  • EPIC
  • Nurse Patient Ratio:1:04
  • EKG exam Pharm exam – must pass during compliance process – prestart
  • Nursing staff analyze cardiac rhythms on their patients
